RALEIGH–The N. C. Department of Transportation is hosting an outreach meeting Tuesday, April 3 in Sanford for Small Business Enterprises (SBE) and Historically Underutilized Businesses (HUB) interested in subcontracting opportunities with the department on upcoming transportation projects in Eastern North Carolina.  Because Governor Perdue’s number one priority is creating jobs, she is encouraging SBEs and HUBs to attend this meeting, as it will be a prime opportunity for these businesses to develop partnerships with the department that can potentially lead to jobs on future transportation projects.  The meeting  will be held at 9 A.M. at the Lee County Farm Bureau Auditorium at 2420 Tramway Road.
