Trace Adkins describes his new Songs and Stories tour as an “intimate” experience, but that doesn’t mean he’s leaving rocking hits like “Honky Tonk Badonkadonk” and “One Hot Mama” out of the show.
Trace tells The Birmingham News, “I didn’t scale back on the band; we’ve got all the instruments to do what we need to do. It’s that the format of the show is much more of ‘an evening with’ than just a concert.”
Fans can also expect Trace’s shows to be spontaneous for the most part.
“I haven’t sat down and written the show; it’s not the same banter every night,” Trace says. “Fans can ask questions on my website; they can request songs and I can give them a shout-out.”
Trace will be on the road with his Songs and Stories tour through July. Check out TraceAdkins.com for concert dates.
