Blake Shelton has a concert date in Las Vegas Saturday, but he’d be interested in a more permanent gig in Sin City. In a recent interview with the Las Vegas Review Journal, Blake says, “If any of the big casino people are reading this, I’d be up for a big, Garth Brooks-type show in Vegas.”
Leading up to his show in Vegas this weekend, Blake has personally booked about 15 hotel rooms for friends and family coming out to his show. He didn’t personally invite all those people though.
“You don’t hear from people for a year — until you play Vegas,” Blake says. “And then you hear from everybody that you’ve ever known.”
Of course, Blake will be back in Las Vegas to host the 47th Annual ACM Awards with Reba. The show broadcasts live on CBS at 8 p.m. ET on Sunday, April 1.
