Eric Church has filed a lawsuit seeking to stop people selling counterfeit tour merchandise at his shows.  According to the Nashville Business Journal, the counterfeiters are selling shirts with Eric’s face and tour cities printed on them among other things.  The suit alleges they are traveling from city to city selling the bootleg merchandise and quickly disappearing when approached by people in Eric’s camp.

The suit seeks a federal court order authorizing the seizure of these counterfeit goods and an injunction against manufacturing such items.  Eric and his team are also seeking compensatory and punitive damages in the case.
