SANFORD-The books will close at noon today for filing for the May Primary.  Voters in Lee County and the district will have many candidates to choose from as the list continues to grow.  The latest to file in Lee County is Max Dolan, a Republican, who filed Tuesday afternoon for one of the three At-Large seats on the Lee County Board of Commissioners.  He   is joined by fellow Republicans  Frank Del Palazzo, Kirk Smith, incumbent Larry ‘Doc’ Oldham, and Democrats Amy Dalrymple and Ricky Frazier.  Seven candidates, including two incumbents, are seeking the four seats open on the Lee County Board of Education.  Register of Deeds Mollie McGinnis is being challenged by fellow Democrat, Patti Eakes.  Two Democrats are vying for the opportunity to face Second District Congresswoman Renee Ellmers, who is also being challenged by four Republicans.
