The same day Rascal Flatts picked up the CRS 2012 Artist Humanitarian Award, Jay DeMarcus discovered he may be taking home some more trophies.  Jay tweeted, “Very thankful… 3 Dove Award nominations!!” after finding out he’s up for the Gospel Music Association’s top honor.  Two projects he produced are in the running for Country Album of the Year:  Brighter One by Marshall Hall and New Day from The Martins.  A track from the latter is also up for Inspirational Recorded Song of the Year. The 2012 GMA Dove Awards will be handed out April 19 at Atlanta’s Fox Theatre.

Rascal Flatts continue with their charitable endeavors by playing a concert with BoyzIIMen in Orlando. The March 19 show at Hard Rock Live benefits the T.J. Martell Foundation and the Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children.
