Lionel Richie is heading to HSN to promote his new album, Tuskegee. On March 16, he’ll become the first artist to participate on the home shopping channel’s HSN Live concert series. During the event, which airs at 8 p.m. on HSN, HSN.com and HSN Mobile, Lionel will perform tracks from the new album, which features his classic hits reinterpreted as duets with today’s hottest country stars such as Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean and Blake Shelton. During the HSN show, Kenny Rogers will join Lionel for the song “Lady,” which Lionel wrote.
In addition to enjoying the concert, HSN viewers will be able to order an exclusive two-CD bundle via HSN.com that includes both the new album and a five-track bonus CD that features some of Lionel’s greatest hits, like “Say You, Say Me” and “Dancing on the Ceiling,” plus a never-before-released version of Lionel’s hit “You Are,” recorded live at Wembley Arena.
In a statement, Lionel said of Tuskegee, “It was perhaps the most fun I’ve ever had in the studio and I can’t wait to share with fans what I consider some of my best work, when I appear on HSN.”
Tuskegee will be in stores March 27. Lionel recently filmed a video with Shania Twain in the Bahamas for their new version of “Endless Love” that appears on the album.
